Photographer Submissions

If you would like us to consider your work for inclusion within RSPB Images, please send a CD/DVD containing a maximum of 10 high-resolution images to Lisa Fell, Picture Researcher, Creative Services, RSPB, The Lodge, Sandy, Bedfordshire, SG19 2DL.

It is important that you adhere to the following specification:

• TIFF files only
• 300ppi
• Files should be in excess of 25MB - please DO NOT interpolate files
• Colour space - Adobe RGB (1998)
• Files should be 8 bit
• Images should be cleaned at 100%
• Images should be colour corrected
• Files should be titled with a brief description of the image
• Images should be unsharpened
• Name your disks - preferably with a CD writer pen, not labels
• Identify any composite work
• Please note: We DO NOT accept unscanned images

Enclose a covering letter with your full contact details and brief description of the scope of your work.

Please enclose a stamped and self-addressed envelope for the return of your work should it prove unsuitable for our collection.

Due to the high volume of prospective submissions, we regret that we are unable to comment on individual submissions.

Should you be successful in your application we ask that our agency photographers can submit 100 recent images to a picture edit every two months. We are interested in images of all UK flora and fauna and the natural environment, not just birds.
