We never sell your details. Any information you supply to us will be used only by RSPB Images, RSPB Sales Limited (which usually trades as the RSPB Shop, a private limited company with registration number 2693778 and data controller number Z5539068) and CiT Digital (http://www.citdigital.com/privacy-policy/) for the purpose of completing your order and/or updating you with information about our offers and new images/products.
We may share personal data with subcontractors or suppliers who provide us with services. For example, if you order a print, your name and address will be shared with the printing or delivery company. However, these activities will be carried out under a contract which imposes strict requirements on our supplier to keep your information confidential and secure.
RSPB Images may occasionally organise competitions, usually in partnership with third parties, such as Pinterest (https://policy.pinterest.com/en-gb/privacy-policy). At the point of selection we will ask the winner to provide us with some personal details (such as their name and address) which will be used and shared with third party suppliers solely for the purpose of contacting the winner in regard to their prize and posting the prize at the winners address. We may also publish the winners name on the competition website, as well as within RSPB Pinterest. Additional Terms and Conditions will also apply.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
All RSPB Images forms which request credit card or bank details use the SSL (secure sockets layer) protocol for encryption. Most browsers (including current versions of Microsoft Explorer and Netscape Navigator) support SSL. The link between your browser and the server is secure if your browser displays a small padlock or key symbol somewhere in the frame, or the address bar shows a web address beginning 'https://' (rather than http://).
RSPB Images is based in the UK and we store our data within the European Union. Some organisations which provide services to us may transfer personal data outside of the EEA, but we will only allow them to do so, provided your data is adequately protected.
We will only use and store information for so long as it is required for the purposes it was collected for. How long information will be stored for depends on the information in question and what it is being used for. We continually review what information we hold and delete what is no longer required.
We want to ensure you remain in control of your personal data. Part of this is making sure you understand your legal rights, which are as follows:
A cookie is a very small text file placed on your computer's hard drive (by the website server) when you visit certain web pages. It is associated with the computer you use, not you personally, and it cannot deliver viruses.
Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website.
